Duke Wind Energy Disputes State Tax Bill
When the tax bill came due this year, the North Carolina-based energy went back on its promise, and filed appeals of the state’s property tax assessments on all four of its wind energy projects in Wyoming: Silver Sage and Happy Jack in Laramie County and Campbell Hill and Top of the World in Converse County.

Fort Collins’ Power Provider Adds Electricity
from Wyoming Wind Farm
The Silver Sage project near Cheyenne is delivering electricity to Platte River Power Authority, which serves Fort Collins, Longmont, Loveland and Estes Park in Colorado. The new power more than doubles Platte River’s wind generation resources.
