Officials Schedule Open Houses for Massive Wind Project Near Rawlins
As we reported earlier this summer, the 1,000-wind turbine Chokecherry and Sierra Madre Wind Energy Project south of Rawlins received federal approval, and now, the developer has set several open houses to discuss the project with the public.
Residents of the Cowboy State who attend will receive more information about the project, be able to ask questions and provide comment to Power Co. of Wyoming, the project’s developer. A free barbecue dinner is included at the Rawlins and Saratoga meetings.
