Natrona County: Contractor Sues Former
Development Director
September 6th, 2011 • Filed Under
A local businessman who once served as Natrona County development director is facing a default court judgment because lawyers for the company suing him for unpaid bills have been unable to locate him.
Blair Leist’s apparent disappearance from Casper came after a contractor affiliated with the McMurry companies sued him for nearly $60,000 worth of work and materials.
Friday, the attorney for Ricor Investments LLC said he would ask Natrona County District Court to issue a default judgment against Leist because he couldn’t be found to receive a summons.
Leist started WindWorks Energy LLC in January 2010, a month after he resigned from the county. According to the Wyoming Secretary of State’s business database, WindWorks Energy was declared administratively dissolved on March 12.
