Renewable Energy Workshops Taking Place in Douglas

Renewable energy, techniques for energy conservation and efficiency, and tours of on- and off-grid wind and solar energy systems will be the topics in a small-scale renewable energy workshop later this month in Douglas.
The sessions begin at 9 a.m., Saturday, April 24, at The site is the McKibben Cafeteria on the Wyoming State Fairgrounds, with sessions beginningat 9 AM, Saturday, April 24th. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
Ashley Garrelts, University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service (UW CES) educator in Douglas, says “The program is designed to walk participants through information that will allow them to decide if a home/farm renewable energy system is right for their situation and then how they can accomplish this task and obtain funding, It will also allow participants to speak to and learn from others who have successfully installed renewable energy systems on their properties.”
