U.S.Wind Development Slowed Signficantly in Q1
The American Wind Energy Association has reported that the wind industry installed 539 megawatts in the first quarter of 2010, the lowest first-quarter figure since 2007. This followed a record 2009, when 10,000 megawatts were added.

To get project approval, the company must address concerns related to the sage grouse.
